		<description>Niche marketing is super effective and many e-commerce sellers miss this fact when they build there store.  There are certain benefits to having a TON of inventory (mostly long tail SEO) but it&#039;s tough to really grow a business when you try to sell everything and anything to everyone and anyone.   
 
In other words, rather than trying to stock every possible item, it&#039;s better to limit the scope of your shop to exactly what your prospects are looking for.  If you sell cell phone accessories, niches can be broken down into a per phone basis and it can help since iPhone users might have different design / conversion triggers than Blackberry or NexusOne users.  Keep that in mind when designing and developing your site!
